Our Mission

We exist to be a catalyst for gospel change, gospel community, and gospel commission in the greater Boston area and to the ends of the earth.

• Gospel Change | Changed by the gospel and continually being changed by the gospel
• Gospel Community | An inward and outward focused community gathered because of and for the advancement of the gospel
• Gospel Commission | A contagious sending culture in response to the gospel; a replicating movement of making disciples and planting churches

How We Accomplish Our Mission

By holding public gatherings and smaller community gatherings throughout the week, because of and for the advancement of the gospel, while executing a replicating movement; that is gathering and training others to gather and train others for the work of the Gospel.

Core Values

God’s Gospel of Jesus Christ

Because of our sinful state and future reality apart from God (meaning eternal Hell), God sent His Son Jesus Christ to live the perfect life we could not, die the death we deserved, was raised from the dead, and conquered that which we could not; that is Satan, sin, and death through his Resurrection.

This is the message and source of hope, renewal, and the power of God for Salvation.

God’s Word

The Bible is God’s word to his people, inspired by God the Holy Spirit and is without error. We are to live humbly and submissively to God’s word.

Worship

Our joyful and sacrificial response to God’s initiation. It is God that should be the recipient of all that we say, do, and have been given, so that God may get all the glory.

Community

God’s people gathered because of the gospel and for the advancement of the gospel. We are to live humble lives loving and serving each other (inward focused) and our neighbors, communities, and city (outward focused).

Mission

Sent into the world just as Jesus was sent into the world by God the Father. Jesus came to live a humble and sacrificial life of service, proclaiming God’s truth. Just as God sent Jesus, we are sent by Jesus into the world to be proclaiming agents of God’s Gospel and humble instruments of His Kingdom.

A Replicating Movement

Contagious sending culture in response to the gospel, meaning a replicating movement of making disciples and planting churches.

Culture

Not to be removed from the culture of this world, but to rightly engage culture. Through culture we are able to utilize it in a way that brings glory to God and advances the Gospel. We do not want to be merely consumers of culture, but want to affect the culture.

Power

None of our plans, hopes, and dreams are possible through our own effort. The Holy Spirit brought power to usher in the church and the Holy Spirit will continue the work of the church.

God’s Glory

None of this done for our own glory, but for God’s glory. God rightly deserves all the glory in all he accomplishes in us, and through us.
